  Physical Structure

At the point of contact the fibres are cemented by a
phenolic resin binder. (See illustration). The material
retains its original shape and will not shrink during
storage.


  Specific Heat

The specific heat of Rockwool is a function
of the temperature. At room temperature, the material
has been measured at approximately 0.1 kca/kg0C, 10000C, approx. 0.23 kcal/kg0C
